Surprised at the very limited dinner menu and high prices. Beautiful location (we used to come here when it was Lakeside Inn), but we won't be returning.

First visit was okay for a Saturday lunch, former Amphora Dinner server was great. Second visit was for brunch, chef could not poach an egg to save his life and the steak with my eggs was way over cooked. Service was terrible. The location was great but we don't pay for location. 😱

Great location overlooking one of the Reston Lakes. Son’s barbecue ribs were tasty. The vegetable hash is a great concept but slightly too salty. The crab cakes are nice but not really all jumbo lump crab meat - also a bit salty. Very nice beverage list. Appreciated the basket of corn muffins to start - clearly freshly baked and nice recipe...also liked that the butter was very spreadable.
We have been to Red's Table many times. We were given several menus, this overwhelmed us, so we asked April our server for suggestions. We are in the restaurant business ourselves. We had very amateur service from our server; it was like she did not care. We ordered a few of their delicious dry aged burgers. The buns are made in house. The food was marginal and the waitress was snobby. Won't go back
Every time I'm in town, I come to Reds.... if today had been my first visit with terrible service and poorly prepared food, would never come back. What happened??
Server himself wasn't bad although he forgot a few little items but it took forever to get drinks and I mean FOREVER! Not sure if sitting at the bar as opposed to outside at happy hour would speed up drink service but I sure hope so.
